Bushey Expands Independent Data Centre Procurement Advisory for AI Infrastructure

Bushey Pty Ltd has expanded its independent Data Centre procurement advisory service. The service helps organisations secure high-density, AI-ready capacity across Australia and New Zealand.

The rapid growth of AI workloads is changing what organisations need from a Data Centre. Rack densities, liquid-cooling requirements and power availability now narrow the field to a small number of facilities. Delivery timeframes and expansion paths have become as important as price.

Bushey’s service covers

  1. requirements confirmation and procurement brief preparation
  2. targeted market engagement with suitable Data Centre operators
  3. technical assessment of power, cooling, density, resilience and expansion capability
  4. commercial assessment, capacity-hold discussions and provider recommendation
  5. support through commercial negotiation and contracting

“Organisations deploying AI infrastructure face a market where very few facilities can deliver what they need, when they need it. They need an adviser who knows the market, tests every claim and represents only their interests. That is how we work.”

Barry Lewington CITPFounder and Managing Director, Bushey

Bushey operates independently of Data Centre operators and accepts no provider commissions or referral fees.

Bushey attended the Sydney Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2026, bringing together leaders from across the Data Centre, cloud, AI and digital infrastructure ecosystem.

As AI and cloud adoption continue to accelerate, the conversations around resilient infrastructure, capacity, power, sustainability and the future of Data Centres are becoming increasingly important. This year's event explored these challenges across Data Centre, Cloud, AI & Compute, and Interconnect streams.

For Bushey, it was an opportunity to connect with industry leaders, exchange perspectives and explore how organisations can make better-informed decisions across their Data Centre estates, from strategy and assessment through to migration and transformation.
